Andrew Wells is an account executive specializing in campaign strategy, political analysis and coalition management. Andrew’s skills in public policy advocacy have been honed in political, corporate and agency settings.

Andrew is dedicated to Nyhus public affairs campaigns in fields such as biotechnology, global commerce and renewable energy. He works on behalf of PhRMA, international trade initiatives, the Washington Clean Technology Alliance and several other clients. His skills include coalition organization and outreach, resulting in compelling messaging and third-party advocacy that reach the influential audiences and media that matter most to clients. His experience and policy knowledge help build partnerships between the public, non-profit and private sectors, fostering innovative approaches that achieve client objectives.

His professional background includes public relations and marketing at a Denver urban planning firm. He worked at the Colorado press office of U.S. Sen. Mark Udall during health care and finance reform. At the campaign office of U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet, he focused on media, fundraising and legislative research. He also interned at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, a think tank at the University of Pennsylvania. As Assistant Secretary of the Democratic Party of Denver, he facilitated election activities and wrote policy op-eds for elected officials.

Andrew has a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Denver, focused on international trade, communications and comparative politics. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature summa cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

A longtime resident of both Washington and Colorado, Andrew enjoys running, sailing, concerts and travel.
