Chris is a strategic and creative thought leader with experience in broadcast media, non-profit and agency environments. As the Senior Director of Marketing and Content, Chris leads a team of content producers, designers and strategists to develop innovative programs that achieve our client’s goals.
Prior to joining Nyhus, Chris was the creative director for ESPN Radio and KIRO Radio in Seattle, Chris designed broadcast studios to enable streaming video distribution, managed digital marketing strategy and execution, established content partnerships with the Seattle Mariners and Seahawks and oversaw the user experience and in-channel messaging for media properties reaching more than 400,000 daily users.
During the 2004 election, Chris lead production and user experience for ABC News Radio in Washington, DC before moving to Atlanta to relaunch the radio brand for the Atlanta Braves, Major League Baseball’s largest radio network.
In 2013, Chris was awarded a prestigious Bronze Anvil from the Public Relations Society of America for his content marketing initiatives for a national non-profit while also earning several MarCom awards for his marketing strategies.
Outside of Nyhus, Chris can often be found in his Airstream trailer exploring the national forests of the Pacific Northwest or piloting an airplane in Lake Union.
