Beau Fong
Account Manager

Beau Fong is an account manager who thrives on building communications and strategic alliances that effectively inform and engage the public. With nearly 20 years of public relations, community outreach, public affairs, marketing and media relations experience, Beau is known for her ability to help clients and organizations build relationships, determine common goals and collaborate around their issues to bring change.

As an account manager at Nyhus, Beau delivers strategic communications counsel for such clients as Urban Partners LLC, (Burien Town Square and Kenmore Village by the Lake), Snohomish County (Agricultural Sustainability Project), Seeds of Compassion and Philanthropy Northwest.

Beau has worked with civic and business leaders to develop and manage marketing and communications strategies, programs and special events. She has delivered creative solutions to complex communications challenges for local nonprofit, government and cultural institutions.

Prior to joining Nyhus, Beau served as a public relations manager and senior public information officer for Seattle Center, where she managed all marketing communications, developed and implemented public relations and marketing plans for the Center’s cultural and community events as well as its major redevelopment projects, and was instrumental in all phases of marketing, public relations, special events, media relations and community outreach for the grand opening of Fisher Pavilion and Marion Oliver McCaw Hall.

Beau was previously the communications manager at United Way of King County, where she worked with local media, nonprofit agencies, businesses and community volunteers to increase credibility, visibility and donor involvement at United Way. She also developed and implemented annual media relations plans and acted as the chief media spokesperson for the largest non–governmental health and human services funder in Washington State.

Beau has also held positions as media relations coordinator at the Seattle Art Museum, public relations manager at the Museum of Flight and television assignment editor at KIRO Television.

A Washington native, Beau earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Washington. She lives in Edmonds with her husband and five children. In her spare time, Beau enjoys running, skiing and volunteering at her children’s schools.
