The project combines a world–class, 160–room Pan Pacific Hotel, 261 premier condominiums and a Whole Foods Market. Nyhus has generated significant local and national media coverage for Vulcan’s 2200 project, including a front–page story in The Seattle Times and a real–estate feature in The New York Times.

ACME Bowling, Billiards and Events
Nyhus handled the public relations for the grand opening of one of the largest bowling and event venues on the West Coast, which combines bowling with billiards, private meeting and event rooms and a full–service restaurant with cocktail lounge and bar.

BelGreen

Bellevue Towers
Nyhus is handling public relations for Bellevue Towers, downtown Bellevue’s first eco–luxury condominium building. These iconic 42– and 43–story towers will soon be home to 540 luxury residences and will be the most environmentally friendly high–rise condominium project in the region.

Blue Sky Cleaners
Nyhus is managing the public relations for the launch of Blue Sky Cleaners, Seattle’s first and only environmentally friendly, non–toxic dry cleaning company.

The Blume Company
Nyhus provides public relations for The Blume Company, a Seattle–based commercial real estate development and management company with 2 million square feet of projects completed or planned in the Puget Sound region. The company specializes in developing and managing high–quality, Class A office buildings near downtown Seattle.

Columbia Hospitality Inc.
Nyhus is managing the public relations for Columbia Hospitality–managed properties, including The Inn at Langley, Friday Harbor House, Bell Harbor International Conference Center and Kitsap Conference Center at Bremerton Harborside.

Dearborn Street
Nyhus is handling the public affairs for one of the largest mixed–use developments on the West Coast. The well–planned, human–scaled project will transform an outmoded 10–acre site into a pedestrian–oriented community that will be a new home for Seattle Goodwill. In addition, the development will have 600,000 square feet of retail and up to 500 homes for people of a wide range of incomes.

Downtown Seattle Association
Nyhus worked closely with the DSA to help the development community successfully lobby for higher–density development in downtown Seattle.
Case Study

Fifteen Twenty-One Second Avenue
Nyhus handled the first phase of public relations for what will be one of Seattle’s tallest residential towers, Fifteen Twenty–One Second Avenue, located across from Pike Place Market. Nyhus garnered consistent coverage of the 440–foot glass–and–steel tower, which is the first tall–and–slender tower to be completed under the city’s new downtown zoning regulations. The penthouse–style condos sold more than a year before the building is scheduled to open.

Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences
Nyhus is managing the marketing, public relations and public affairs associated with the development of a luxury $120–plus–million Four Seasons hotel and condo tower scheduled to open in downtown Seattle in 2008. Located across from the expanded Seattle Art Museum and home to unparalleled city, mountain and bay views, Four Seasons Seattle is expected to be the city’s premier residential address. Within weeks of joining the team, Nyhus has already begun attracting significant local media coverage of the project.

Gibraltar
Gibraltar, a Seattle–based real estate development, management and brokerage firm, called on Nyhus to update its image by creating graphics standards, restructuring its website and designing its corporate brochure and other collateral.

Hainan Airlines
China–based Hainan Airlines is partnering with Nyhus to develop and execute a comprehensive and highly creative marketing and communications campaign for its North American launch. The airline begins nonstop service between Beijing and Seattle on June 9, 2008. Nyhus is managing a targeted marketing, public relations and community outreach program for the launch.

J.C. Mueller
Nyhus is managing the public affairs and public relations for J.C. Mueller’s community center development.

Lakeside Capital
Nyhus provided strategic public relations and media support for Lakeside Capital, a private wealth management firm.

Legacy Partners
For Queen Anne High School, Legacy at Pratt Park and other projects, Nyhus has provided Legacy Partners with strategic public relations and community relations counsel.

LEXAS Companies
Nyhus is managing the public relations for ESCALA, a 31–story tower at Fourth and Virginia in Seattle that will be the city’s first Manhattan–style condominium development and the anchor to the city’s newest downtown neighborhood, Midtown.

LUMEN
Nyhus oversees public relations for LUMEN, a trend–setting, mixed–use development located near the Space Needle in Seattle’s UptownƒQueen Anne neighborhood.

Molbak’s Nursery
Nyhus worked closely with owner Jens Molbak on drought–related issues, lobbying to help improve Washington state’s system for declaring statewide and regional droughts.

New School Foundation
Nyhus managed public relations for this Seattle–based nonprofit organization, which helps create exemplary public schools through intensive long–term partnerships with school staff and district leaders.

Nisqually Indian Tribe
Nyhus is the strategic communications consultant for Nisqually Indian Tribe, a federally recognized tribe near Olympia. The tribe is known as a leader in innovative economic development initiatives and in providing education, health care and housing assistance to its people.

Opus Northwest
Nyhus is handling public relations and public affairs for the Seattle office of Opus Northwest and its retail, office, industrial and residential projects throughout the greater Puget Sound region.

Philanthropy Northwest
Nyhus is handling the public relations for Philanthropy Northwest and its 30th Anniversary as the region’s premier networking and training institution for foundations and grantmakers across Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington.

Schnitzer West
Nyhus has managed public relations for several of Schnitzer West’s residential developments, including Brix on Capitol Hill, Equinox in Eastlake and Gallery in Belltown. The Bravern, Schnitzer West’s ambitious mixed–use development in Bellevue, is the latest project for which the company has engaged the Nyhus team. Nyhus manages the public relations for the $200 million development of Burien Town Square. Nyhus is also managing public relations and community outreach for the $100 million Kenmore Village by the Lake.

VIDA
San Francisco–based Tonsing Properties looked to Nyhus to handle public relations for the company’s first development in the Pacific Northwest. VIDA, an environmentally friendly and affordable 12–story, 242–unit condo building in downtown Bellevue, is scheduled to open in late 2009.
