Gary Fuller
Director of Accounting and Finance

Gary brings more than 30 years of financial and customer service experience to Nyhus in his role as director of accounting and finance. A level–headed advisor and administrator, Gary extracts and analyzes critical financial data for the Nyhus team. He thoroughly understands the importance of implementing sound accounting principles and maintaining clear goals and objectives.

Prior to joining Nyhus, Gary worked for Two Downtown, Ltd., where he served as Vice President of Finance for one of Seattle’s leading designers and producers of special events. As financial advisor for the company’s owners, Gary created models for tracking project costs to ensure accurate and timely status reports. His keen ability to analyze budgets and long–range forecasts helped the company adjust to the ever–changing nature of the industry.

Gary began his career at the Edgewater Inn, Seattle’s only waterfront hotel, where he directed the front–office operations of the hotel for eight years and implemented programs that recognized and rewarded customer loyalty. As assistant controller, Gary supervised the installation of accounting systems that enhanced financial reporting capabilities and facilitated accurate and timely information.

A native of Bothell, Wash., Gary earned a bachelor’s degree in Radio-Television Broadcasting from the University of Washington and did postgraduate work at Indiana University. He has a passion for architecture and theater that’s evident in his volunteer endeavors. Gary writes, coordinates and leads tours for the Seattle Architecture Foundation and was the 2005 recipient of the organization’s volunteer excellence award. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre, chairing the Audit committee and serving as a member of the Design Review Committee.
