Jessica Joffe Stein
Account Manager

Jessica Joffe Stein is a forward–thinking communications professional with more than 12 years of experience in project management, publishing, instructional design and consumer service. She has strong marketing instincts, a keen eye for detail and an affinity for juggling multiple high–priority tasks.

As account manager at Nyhus, Jessica manages the marketing and public relations plan for Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Seattle, a 21–story, ultra–luxury hotel–condo development in downtown Seattle. Key elements of the plan include a targeted advertising campaign, website creation and management, media relations, newsletter and collateral development, event planning and monthly correspondence with investors, buyers, high–end brokers and prospective buyers.

Jessica develops branding and marketing strategies for several other Nyhus clients seeking to establish or refresh their identity and improve their position in the marketplace. She works closely with the public relations staff and external design teams to allocate resources efficiently and effectively, finding the group best suited to deliver exceptional results.

Prior to joining Nyhus, Jessica was supervising editor of Nintendo of America’s wholly owned monthly magazine, Nintendo Power, for eight years, where she mastered the art of creating a timely, engaging and informative read for its 300,000 subscribers while supporting the company’s key marketing messages. Jessica managed all aspects of day–to–day editorial production, including determining editorial direction, style and tone; assigning articles; maintaining schedules; overseeing vendors; and proofreading. In addition, she led a team that produced industry–standard trade–show brochures, point–of–purchase materials, full–color strategy guides and collateral for licensed products.

During her tenure at Nintendo, Jessica also headed several public relations activities, including hosting promotional events and presenting the latest games in development to various external media outlets. She was among the four employees selected from 200 applicants to participate in the company’s inaugural Lead Management Training program, eight months after her employment had begun.

Before moving to Seattle in 1994, Jessica handled commercial billing at MCI Telecommunications for clients such as the Chicago Board of Trade. She began her career in the Food and Beverage division of Research and Development at the Procter & Gamble Company.

A proud Badger, Jessica earned her bachelor’s degree in French from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and spent one of her four collegiate years studying at La Sorbonne in Paris. Much to her surprise, it was her French fluency that landed her a job at Nintendo. She has also studied Italian and Japanese.
