Office Assistant

Jon Misola is an enthusiastic and supportive member of the Nyhus team who takes pride in aiding the office with any task necessary. As office assistant, Jon works closely with both the public affairs and public relations teams to ensure that clients’ projects and events are completed according to schedule and as smoothly as possible. Jon’s quick wit, eagerness and eternally positive attitude contribute to the fun and lively work environment.

In addition to assisting in daily operations, Jon’s responsibilities include daily news monitoring, research, presentation and media training and IT support. Since he is involved in many projects, this puts Jon in the unique position to act as the eyes and ears for all clients. He understands that client relations and attention to detail are essential for first–rate communication.

Jon also works on many graphic design and computer–related projects, both for the company and for a variety of Nyhus’ clients. His interest in graphic design and desktop publishing and his developing proficiency in related programs allow him to take on a variety of tasks. It is this trademark willingness to contribute however possible that makes Jon an essential member of the Nyhus team.

Jon is studying biology at the University of Washington and is particularly interested in the science at cellular and molecular levels. He has consistently been involved with many campus activities, including intramural sports teams and Hawaii Club.

A native of Honolulu, Hawaii, Jon has adapted and learned to love most everything about the Pacific Northwest. When not in the office, Jon can be found attending a concert or cooking pasta dishes or shish kabob for his roommates. Jon is an avid sports fan who loves to snowboard, bodyboard and play just about any other outdoor sport, especially volleyball and tennis.
