Michael Graubard
Account Supervisor

Michael Graubard is an account supervisor at Nyhus, specializing in real estate and hospitality communications. A dedicated professional with a strong background in public relations, community relations, public affairs and strategic planning, Michael leads communications efforts for some of the region’s leading companies.

Michael has a strong understanding of local and regional issues with a proven record of effectively partnering with clients and the community to develop and implement effective action plans. He has extensive experience in managing complex projects and successfully positioning clients in the media and the community.

Michael works closely with Roger Nyhus, the company’s chief strategist, to develop and implement creative solutions and manage challenging situations. Michael manages projects for a number of industry leaders including Schnitzer West, developers of The Bravern, Gerding Edlen Development, developers of Bellevue Towers, and The YarrowBay Group.

Michael also has experience managing Nyhus’ diverse team of partners to deliver exceptional graphics, displays, brochures, photography and other collateral to meet client needs.

Michael has more than nine years of communications experience. Prior to joining Nyhus, Michael worked at the City of Seattle, where he was involved in helping shape the Department of Transportation’s public image. He developed and implemented communications solutions for complex public works projects and represented the department to the media as well as many of Seattle’s diverse communities.

Michael has also worked with a regional public works consulting firm to develop and implement communications solutions for clients throughout the Puget Sound area.

Michael has a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Union College in Schenectady, N.Y., and attended graduate school at the University of Washington’s School of Communications.
